The problem
Civilization is in a critical state and mankind is at an evolutionary crossroads.
On one hand, problems have arisen which are global in scale and have brought society to a condition of escalating planetary crisis.
On the other hand, humankind’s potentials for creative change, fulfilment and
benevolent control of our environment have never been greater.”

Founder of the Institute of Noetic Sciences.

I display various areas/levels of work in ICON and the questions are a way of accesing the problems. I love the questions but they are probably too many. Which of them, of each area seems the most powerful ? Try to read them with the observer placed in two sides, one is you, the other is the investor. Questions can vary according to who are we targetting. (please answer as a thread)
ICON emerges from the deep intention to serve the transition towards a sustainable future. Our level of commitment is in the local, regional and global spheres. Thus our challenges are:
In our commitment to our global efforts. In the midst of a systemic crisis:
How can we participate in speeding the collective stream of evolution of human consciousness and its institutions in a more effective way? How can we guide our selves through this planetary crisis? How can we begin to cooperate as a global society towards a positive future?Which tools and frameworks need to be tested, invented to augment our collective capacities for innovation in a global scale? Have only the creative genius had access to the realms of consciousness where high creativity resides? What is this realm? How deep does it go? What’s the information there? How do we get masses of people tapping into this? How can we give language to it? What language do we need?
There are still unanswered questions of human consciousness that impact so many areas of who we must be...
ICON is an integral community wanting to transcend and include what has been done in the past. Mindful of the need to not replicate potentially limiting patterns of intentional communities. Some of our challenges are:
How do we help people to become the central vortex of idea generation. Where people take responsablity for their personal growth and collective capacities in an integral way? How do we work with invisible architectures and become architects of our future? Which learning system will empower ICON residents in their personal development and to gain capacities for collective outreach? Which is the best governance system for our community? How to generate wealth that brings us close to the good, the true and the beautiful? How to expand and replicate what we learn to benefit communities and organizations?
In pursuing its goals ICON is committed to serve the local community of Valle de Bravo in its whole spectrum (vallesanos, people from Mexico city as part time and full residents, foreigners) to open possibilities to weave the different initiatives currently taking place and potentiate the new as the community gets organized and taps into its collective intelligence. Questions to answer are:
How can we help the community to align to a shared intention of serving the health of Valle? How can we create a culture in which people can come together in alignment in the face of disagreement? How to create a conducive environment for ideas, creativity and innovation? How to empower s culture of dialogue in Valle de Bravo?
COWL envisions organizations and their leaders as one of the most crucial segments to work with. As we do we ask ourselves:
What processes, tools, frameworks best serve organizations and its leaders in the movement towards conscious business? How does global wisdom-driven organizations looks like? What kind of leadership is needed to drive change while preserving the integrity of the organization?
What is the role of the internet in pursuing this goals?

What do you think of this quote?
The Very Edge of the Possible
I am endlessly compelled by the notion that higher stages or levels of development do not preexist, that is, they are not “given” but are literally created by brave individuals who actually venture into new, uncharted territory, laying down “grooves” that others follow, which eventually become actual new structures or stages. The fact that the future, even at the most subtle metaphysical levels, literally does not yet exist challenges our most fundamental spiritual/religious notions in every possible way, but if we're ready for it, it can be the source of enormous inspiration and promise. I think potentially what's the most thrilling for the postmodern self is the discovery that we are literally creating the future, which means we are not separate from the creative principle or God-impulse itself—God is evolving as we evolve. And this moment itself, assuming that one is leaning into it with all of one's being, reaching for the future, is potentially the very edge of the possible.
