The short term goal is to have the most essential spaces of COWL Valle built by the time the first residents move into the community in 2009. We will continue to build as it grows reaching the completion of the proposed infraestructure by 2010.COWL DF will open its doors in 2009 to fully support our goals. COWL is not a business in the traditional sense. The income it makes will be directed towards supporting its operations, working people and incubating evolutionary projects to serve humanity and pursue its Vision. Its potential can´t be measured with traditional value tools. It will need higher models to measure its wealth. COWL is highly strategic to ICON´s social capital and vision, reason why its of crucial importance that certain percentage of ICON`s revenues in the Sustainable Village sales as well as a residents maintenance fee is directed towards covering COWLs operational costs.

As COWL advances its research, development and implementation on new froms it will be able to replicate, teach and empower others in applying this innovations, enabling a smooth evolutionary transition process.

In our current experience in collective intelligence we have observed the potential that manifests from a groups of people concentrated in working together for a period of 3 to 5 days. When they go back home, individuals face the limits of old architectures and modes of being and doing which are unable to support them in their goal towards higher aims. The collective body which was built with a lot effort is hardly sustained without the right practices, tools and architectures to support them, specially when they are separated across time/space.
